Coastal Watercolor Paintings

Dear Chicago House,

I inherited my artist ability from my Mum and in turn have past on these genes to Chicago teenager. You have seen plenty of action from little Miss Chicago ( well actually not so little at 5’10”) so I thought today I’d share some beautiful coastal watercolor painting done by my lovely Mammy.

A Journey to Worms Head by Carole Anderson

Waves on the Sea by Carole Anderson

Aren’t they lovely. Worms Head is at the end of the Gower Penisular and is accessible at low tide, it makes for an interesting hike. The painting makes me want to walk down that path and have an adventure.

Both paintings are part of a Seascape Watercolor collection currently on display at The Black Mountain Centre in Wales (UK) and are for sale by bid auction. The collection has some beautiful painting of the Welsh coastline and is well worth checking out – visit The Black Mountain Centre for more information,

Here a few from a couple of the other artists

I am a bit homesick now…even though I left Wales over 25 years ago
